The Raknehaug play began in the late 1980s: The desire was to develop a local historical play in Romerike. It all started with a conference in Trandum.

The theater community had actors ready for the task: Romerike folk high school and amateur theaters groups had laid a solid foundation over many years. Authors, a composer  and a director were engaged; actors were brought in from all over Upper Romerike. "Friends of Raknehaugen" was founded to take care of it all. In June 1991, the premiere of the Raknehaug play took place.

After a long break, the play has made its comeback. We had the opportunity to develop a whole new identity for Raknehaugspillet. The new visual profile builds on the play's classic elements, but is renewed with a modern and dynamic expression that reflects the timeless essence of the play. We have also created unique film and image elements that bring the story to life, as well as developed a new website that ties everything together and provides a cohesive and engaging user experience. The new figures in the profile represent the different roles of the play, making the identity both lively and recognisable.
